I specialize in Autism assessment for children aged 2.5 years and up; and ADHD assessment for children aged 5 and up. I also evaluate children for a variety of developmental and academic concerns including Tics/Tourette’s, Dyslexia, anxiety, depression, and learning disabilities.
Please Contact Me and I would be happy to talk with you more.
**I currently do not see adult clients for psychological assessment. I also do not do evaluations pertaining to juvenile justice, child custody, psychiatric hospitalization, or forensic evaluations. If you or your child is seeking these services, I am happy to provide referrals for other practitioners that may meet your needs.
I DO see adults for career assessment.

Children who receive early identification and intervention for Autism, ADHD, or other childhood disabilities, have significantly better long-term outcomes than children who do not get identification and intervention services.
A thorough and detailed evaluation is the first step to understanding how your child learns best; so you can get the tools you need as a parent to foster their strengths and support areas that need growth.
-
If your child received a diagnosis at our clinic, we will work with you to find services and interventions that meet your family’s needs. We offer many parent education and child intervention services right here at our clinic. We are also happy to point you in the direction of other community services.
If your child received a diagnosis from another provider, we are equally happy to speak with you. It would be a joy to meet your child and see how we can be of help to your family.
-
When your child gets an evaluation at our clinic, we purposefully cover a wide range of assessment areas so you can get the most helpful information about how your child functions best.
Even in the absence of a clinical diagnosis, you will have a clearer picture of steps forward that will help your child succeed.
Each child and family is unique, and our intervention services are available whether or not your child receives a diagnosis.

In short, yes. The content of our therapy sessions and your child’s assessment remains confidential. It is your choice if you want your therapist or evaluator to share information with your child’s other healthcare providers.
There are very rare occasions that confidentiality must be breached, according to law. These instances will be outlined in detail during our initial meeting.

A "therapy hour" is the term we use to describe the typical length of a therapy session. While it’s called an hour, the session usually lasts 50 to 55 minutes. This slightly shorter time allows your clinician to:
Take notes about your session to track progress and plan for future sessions.
Prepare for the next client by reviewing notes or resetting their focus.
Recharge briefly between sessions to give each client their full attention and care.
This is a standard practice across the mental health field to ensure that every client receives thoughtful and effective care. If you have specific time needs, we’re happy to discuss options with you!
